HAHA I really like that entry title for my first post in what was apparently forever to the people who posted at least one of the 11 comments for my last little emo-fest I had in that last post, there. Wow...that sentence was not just Dickens-length, but more like Faulkner-I'm-Going-to-Run-On-This-Sentence-'Til-You-Can't-Remember-What-Happened-30-Pages-Ago-When-This-Sentence-First-Started Long. Yeah. That's right. So...it's about 2:11am right now...life is good. I'm starting to get reallt irritated w/ my job. I was originally scheduled to work fri, sat, and sun missing almost all of comic-con. I called around and go sat and fri covered and am now instead working wed. afternoon, but I get off in time comfortable to make it to preview night (evern...early *gasp* if I can get my lazy self off of the island.). I just, however, found out today after I had already called people that I'm not supposed to call any employees or "partners" as they like to call them (load of nothing, if you ask me-but hey-no one has yet about all of this starbucks franchise bs) outside of our district, which only includes downtown. So, they told me that it's on my head if the people that come in are either a.) new b.) suck, or c.) flake out and don't show at all. And then one of my managers was like, "If they don't show, we're calling you" Which could be majorly shitty if I'm at comic-con and they're like, "you're in trouble, get over here and work right now"....but then again, it wouldn't be the first time that a job ended b/c of comic-con, so eh-what can you do? It's worth it to meb/c it's comic-con and aside from the Ben Fold's concert in august, it's like my big trip/days away from hell aka starbucks. So if that goes down, oh well-there is life beyond serving coffee and near-minimum wages.
On the other hand, I'm super stoked about LOST! WOOOOO! Saturday's going to be the bestest thing in the whole wide world! LOST Cast (No Dom...Tears, but we shall meet someday-don't worry. I'll be laughing at all of you when we're standing at the altar and our song (appropriately "You All Everybody") is playing loud and clear.

Then we've got Kevin Smith, Clips from "King Kong", and then......A TENACIOUS D! MINI-CONCERT! WOOOOOO!
And I and myself-can it get any better?
So, life is good. I hope the Evita thing works out for tuesday and I hope that tomorrow and every other day this week will be great w/o any flakey starbucks "partners" (ICK-I hate this "everyone's in on the multi-million dollar business" corporation sentimentality crap) and getting fired b/c of them. Hm. But, I think things will turn out just peachy. And I'll be at comic-con for like, everything but sunday-so I'm an extremely happy girl.
