Hey hey I'm procrastinating my Soc. homework...lalalaaaaaa...
Hey everybody! I saw this on Tony's blog and decided-ya know? I'm lame and I hate soc. so I'm gonna do this real quick-I'm not expecting comments unless a really ridiculously embarrassing song comes up or something-or unless a song that's listed on here ends up unlockling some deep-seeded childhood memory or...I dunno, something. Here we go!

The Rules:
1. Open up the music player on your computer.
2. Set it to play your entire music collection.
3. Hit the shuffle command.
4. Tell us the title of the next twenty songs that show up (with their musicians), no matter how embarrassing. That's right, no skipping that Carpenters tune that will totally destroy your hip credibility. It's time for total musical honesty.
5. If you get the same artist twice, you may skip the second (or third, or etc.) occurrences. You don't have to, but since randomness could mean you end up with a list of ten songs with five artists, you can if you'd like.

1.) Parachutes-Coldplay
2.) Burndt Jamb-Weezer
3.) My Style (ft. Justin Timberlake)-Black Eyed Peas
4.) A Thousand Years-Sting
5.) Tiny Dancer (cover)-Ben Folds
6.) Back for Good-Take That (HAHAHA the first embarrassing boy band song has arrived.)
7.) The Marriage of Figaro-Mozart
8.) The Weight-The Band (I doubt anyone who reads this knows this song. An oldie but a goodie)
9.) Disease-Matchbox 20
10.) The Perfect Fan-Backstreet Boys (...There's two...)
11.) Can't Take My Eyes Off of You-Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
12.) Sometimes-Nine Days (This is the band who sang "Story of a Girl" all those years ago...this is pop, but it's not as bad as Backstreet Boys or Take That)
13.) Red Hill Mining Town-U2 (I'm proud of this one)
14.) Heaven-Eiffel 65 (...uhhhhhhh...)
15.) Shadows in a Mirror-Chris Issak
16.) Thanks a Lot-Third Eye Blind
17.) Tempted-Squeeze (Thank GOD, something uber 80s)
18.) Aqueous Transition-Incubus
19.) Baby Got Back-Sir Mix-A-Lot (uhhh...laughing a lot right now. yessir. glad this made it on the list.)
20.) Growing On Me-The Darkness (what a good song to end with...this is happy.)

So uhm, super surprised that a lot more 80s music didn't show up.NOT surprised that Backstreet Boys, Eiffel 65, Nine Days, and Take That showed up. Uhm...yeah...I don't actually listen to the pop stuff...if you can believe it...lol which you probably can't. Happy that U2 was on there (off of The Joshua Tree, no less). And I kinda feel like stopping The Darkness to go back and listen to some Chris Isaak whilst I do my Soc. Yeah-this was fun-maybe I'll do this like, monthly or something. Sounds fun. Yes. Ok. Now I'm just stalling-oh and by the way-the song that just came on now after "Growing On Me" was definitely "Finale Ultimo" from Oklahoma!. Just thought I'd share an embarrassing library tidbit. And Danger! High Voltage was after that. HAHAHA I love my freaking diverse music selection. Apparently, I've now got 4252 songs on there. Take it. Just take it.

P.S.!!!!!!!! Had a super fun time w/ C-Dawg this weekend. P.P.S. Went to a midnight showing last night w/ a bunch of people to see (the best movie EVER), Ghostbusters. It was amazing. I'm going on saturday w/ Chip to see "Blue Velvet" (which Chip's already seen)...it's supposed to be a super dimented movie and none of our other friends wanna go see it...huh. Go figure. Haha-it'll be interesting. Ok-functioning on 5 hours of sleep and I'm SO tired. HAHA - dear LORD I was up until 5 this morning. ("Rakuen" just came on...thinking of you, Sweetie. If I can be sentimental for a second, I just keep thinking of us sitting in the living room and you playing this on my guitar and singing along with it and then looking at me when you're playing and then losing the guitar fingering and then being like, "DAMMIT!" and then just us laughing...)

Ah, that memory makes me so happy. Life is so good-it can be so incredibly trying but it's so wonderful.

I can honestly say that the last few months have been the happiest of my life. I can't stop smiling right now-or hardly ever. Thank you. I love you.

OK! I've gotta stop b/c everyone else is reading this like, "Uhm, k, Steph, you're lame, get back to talking about how cold you and your friends were in your stupid halloween costumes last night or how spicy your goddamned curry SHOULD have been" or something like that-hey-y'know what? Pictures should be posted. End of story. :)
