Life, Love, Theatre, & MIDTERMS!

Hey everyone! So, uhm, still lovin' the holidays. Thanksgivin' is what...oh, next week? Can ya dig it? I KNOW I CAN!

WOOOO! So, "Arms and the Man" has been going SUPER well. It's basically draining the life out of me (sat I had a 12 hour rehearsal. Nutzoid.) But it opens on friday, and I hope you guys can come and see it...I think the rep show is going on sometime around now-ish, but the show also extends to next weekend (only performance=the 26th...I know it's the thanksgiving break thing, but eh.) I talked to the beloved Steve-O and he says that he'll be here for thanksgiving break and he wants to come and see it on the 26th and asked, "when's collin and everybody going to see it?" I think he's hoping we could all go together-which would be waaaay awesome. I KNOW you'll all love it-there's this one actor( Scott Drummond ) who has created this insaney melodramatic character out of Shaw's lines. He's absolutely hysterical. (One of my favorite parts of the entire show is: he and the lead-Ryan McCarthy's character, Bluntschli- and his fiance, Raina- get into a coming-out of all of their honest feelings and Scott stands on one of the benches covered with pillows and throws up his arms and yells over-dramatically, "OH, LIFE is a FARSE!" and collapses vertically onto the bench. It's absolutely splendiferous. :)

In other news, today is mine and Jer's official 4-month anniversary. HAPPY 4, SWEETIE! I canNOT wait for a snowy december with him-how much fun!!!! :) AH! I can't wait...less that 4 weeks now...I miss him like crazy and no matter how much I talk to him on the phone or how much I think of him it just can't replace the joy of seeing him or even recalling moments like that. It's absolutely amazing...

I've also got a crazy-ass spanish midterm (a forewarning of the quarter system...you have TWO sets of midterms before finals PER quarter. L-A-M-E.) But yes, my second spanish midterm is tomorrow...and I'm doing an awesome scene (I don't even know if I'm performing tomorrow or on thursday) from a play by Nicky silver called "Raised in Captivity"-It's very Durang-esque and I think a lot of you (if not all of you) would like it. Way nuts.

But yes, life is good. It's busy as all hell, but that's what i'm accustomed to (haha CoSA prepares you well for managing busy schedules later on in life, I suppose.) I miss you all like crazy-I wish I could see the rep show so badly-especially to nicole and collin-you guys are f-in' awesome. Nicole, I hope you're doing well on your coming-to-an-end college applications and collin, thank you for the essay-you're truly an amazing friend.

Time to get some sleep b/c jer'll be calling at about 6 in the morning...it's now 1:36. Hah... maybe the show isn't sucking the life out of me, but perhaps mine own disregard of shut-eye.

Eh. PSH! It's mah life! I'll do what I want!
