Hey Nicole! I know you've like, GOTTA know what's up w/ my life, but for serious-lol sometimes there's just nothing too interesting going on. ;) (I <3 Nicole)

Haha that whole not interesting thing isn't actually true (although sometimes I wish it were). Lots of stuff in my life right now! I just recently started rehearsals for West's "Measure for Measure" which is looking AMAZING-I swear to god these actors are f-ing brilliant-I just love watching them...seriously-everyone should be able to see performers like this on a daily basis. Mother of GOD. It'll be opening in mid-february, so I'll keep you all updated on that! :)

In other news, I've been trying to get a job for the rest of the school year and am having amazing luck! I realized that to continue writing in a professional sense, I should have some experience on my resume other than theatre. (Haha-makes sense, doesn't it?) It took me a while to figure it out, but I actually just applied for the job of being a copy reader/editor and also for writing for the UCSD Guardian. I've been keeping in really great contact with the incredibly nice managing editor, a fourth-year named Vlad; yesterday in an email he told me that he suspects that I'll be hired for at least one of the jobs there. Whoopieeee!!!!! :) I'm really hoping that it all works out-it seems like a great place to learn the ins and outs of journalism! I also applied for a job as a receptionist for one of the professional psychiatrists in the UCSD Thornton Hospital...that, too, would be great experience, especially if I were to pursue psychiatry and medicine. She told me today that she wants to hire me, but I told her I would have to see what my schedule looks like, and that I would look into it; not to come off cold, of course. There is an actual issue with my taking the job. Because the hospital is so out of the way, I have to take a campus shuttle both ways, then the job ends at six, and I have rehearsal every night at 6:30-I just don't know if I'd be able to make it back. PLUS, I'm taking 18 units, PLUS I'd rather take my chances with the paper, because that IS something that I aspire to do.

Woo. So that's been a big time-consumer for this last week. Other than that, it's pretty good to be back. I really love home, but I feel much better when I'm more independent and budgeting everything myself. Although the school isn't my favorite place to be, I'm glad that I'm back and (sort of) living on my own again. :)

Friends-wise, things are great! I've talked on and off with Collin and Charles a lot today, which always makes me happy. Also planning a trip up to San Fran fw/ Collin and Jer for Steve-O's bdayin march, so we're looking into tickets...I freaking love travel. (And I honestly think that this trip will be the best ever b/c I'll be traveling w/ my two favorite people!) Yes yes. Lol just ate dinner w/ my friend Yao from Wisconsin and I'm about to start a stupid essay that HAS to be done by february first, but I'm so incredibly scared because it could potentially change my entire life. YIKES. Then I'm chillin' w/ Lauren and Bren at around nine! :)

And something incredibly amazing to me-sunday is my 6 month (official) anniversary w/ Jer. How the hell did that time go by so quickly??? I don't understand. I do know, however, know that I can't wait for many more months and years and decades and any other length of time to share with him. I absolutely love him. Thank you for everything, Sweetie-how you do it is beyond me.

:)

And tomorrow I'll be at The Boyfriend w/ Lauren, Bren and Lily! (Flip signs, YES.) Break a leg to everyone in the cast tonight, tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night! Donnie, C-Bell and C-Dawg...I'm cheerin' for ya!

Well...haha time to start that essay AKA my death warrant. (Too much time in "Measure" rehearsal lol) yeah-totally NOT my death warrant, but it's huge...too bad this process won't be over with for MONTHS. YEESH. Okay-I love you all and I'm so incredibly proud of all of you-whether you just finished college applications (Nicole) or are performing (like, ALL of you!), or are just...I dunno, trying ketchup for the first time or something crazy. (I don't know anyone who's doing that, but hey-someone reading this out there could very well be.)

;)

Good luck on everything, everyone!!!!

Holy smokes!!! I've been trying all day to find little know sources of "real" people online with thoughts and ideas about the coolest kid in the world. I stumbled on to your porst about this post and although it's not exactly what I was looking for, it certainly caught my attention. I'm personally building a resource for the coolest kid in the world and hope you might stop by and check it out when you have a chance...let me know your thoughts. I'll be sure to send people this way as well. Thanks stephy_andthejets...Cheers!
